About

A group is only worth building if it makes each company better.

Star Groups runs 10 companies out of one Bengaluru address, and no two of them are in the same business. The structure exists for one reason: a client with a piece of land, a brand with no enquiries, or a business drowning in spreadsheets should all be able to walk into the same building and leave with the right team on it.

The Group

Built like a constellation, not a hierarchy.

Every company under Star Groups charts its own course — from landscaped communities and property development to modular interiors, custom software and growth marketing. What holds them together isn't an org chart. It's a shared standard for how work gets done.

The practical effect is simple: a single property can move from development through landscaping and interiors — then get its website, CRM and marketing — without ever leaving the group.

Abhishek Suhas, Founder of Star Groups

The Founder

Started with one shovel, built an empire.

Abhishek Suhas didn't inherit a conglomerate. He built one on a bet most people wouldn't take: that honesty scales, and that the same discipline which makes one business trustworthy can hold across ten without diluting.

The proof came first, in 1982, when the Suhas family turned generations of agricultural roots into Star Gardens: 30 acres in Punganur, Andhra Pradesh, and nothing but the work to back it up. No shortcuts. No outsourcing the standard. It grew into one of the largest landscaping operations across Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh — production units, imported plant lines, and a reputation earned one client at a time.

That wasn't the ceiling; it was the template. Real estate, interiors, technology, media, venture capital, and growth marketing — each one running its own team, its own clients, and its own bottom line. None of them waits for permission. None cuts the corner the first one refused to cut. One founder, one standard, one roof in Bengaluru.

10 companies, and still growing.

How the group operates

Four things that stay true across every company.

01

Independent, not isolated

Every company runs its own team, clients and P&L. None of them has to wait on a head office to make a decision — but none of them has to solve a problem alone either.

02

One standard, six businesses

A landscaping crew and a software team have almost nothing in common operationally. What they share is what the group actually enforces: show up, quote honestly, and finish what you started.

03

The whole chain, in-house

Property, landscaping and interiors, then the website, CRM and marketing that sell them. A project can move through all of it without a single external handoff.

04

Numbers over adjectives

The group's marketing company reports on enquiries and cost per lead rather than reach. That habit runs through everything else — measurable commitments, not impressive language.
